I Am Ready For Some Baseball

I got a pretty sweet christmas gift from my buddy Wes.  He got me this sweet Giants cup:

It came with a matching shot glass and coasters.  Drinking out of this cup gets me excited and ready for Baseball season to start.  I am not a big sports nut but I do like baseball.  I am not much of a football fan so it makes waiting for baseball to start back up even harder. But Barry is off the team, we got some new players, and I just know that this is gonna be a good season.  Hopefully no one else get busted for weezing the juice.

Welcome to the Family.

There is a new member of my family (not really), a brand new Blackberry Pearl. If there was ever one peice of technology that controls my life, I guess this would be it. Wow that is scary. It has every thing for texting to email to a phone and more. But what phone doesn’t now a days right. There are some cool extra things like a Facebook app. and a Google talk one. It is the coolest phone I have had.

Optimus Prime

A few weeks ago me and my friend went to Urban Outfitters in Berekely and I got a sweet new shirt. Well I got it and wore it once after I got it but then after doing laundry it was just sitting in my closet, until the other day and there it was. I had totally forgot about it! Not again!! Candy Land

I know it has been awhile since I posted but things have gotten rather busy but keep looking back for more posts I have a lot saved up and ready to go. OK on to the post…

Ah Candy Land. What a cool game when I was a kid. As I remember it took like 5mins to play it but hey it was a fun game none the less. Well there is a new way to play Candy Land. Last Friday we had our staff Christmas party and lets just say I was shocked to find out the we were going to fit the entire game…and I mean the entire game …of candy land into a soda bottle. That means Cards, game pieces, wrappers, box, and board..everything. The rules were that we could use and do anything to the game to get it into the bottle but we could not alter the bottle in anyway. So being the creative bunch we were, we headed to the front office to use the industrial shredder…genius. Well it worked like a champ and with the other end of a plunger we got it all in there. But…we lost. To the table with the people that planned the entire evening, I thought it was a tad unfair but hey I don’t make the rules, they did. Check out the pics of our awesomeness…

Working on the Sabbath

And on the seventh day there was church….well for everyone who works at a church resting on the sabbath usually happens on a Monday. One of my responsibilities (for now) is to capture the service to upload for web streaming. On Sunday my office changes to the production booth, where the magic of the service happens.

Saturday Morning Hair

Saturday mornings are great times to sleep in, and not do anything with you hair…not to say I do much with my hair to begin with. But here is a view of bed head…

God Rides…

Well here is a little side project that has been in the works called God Rides. Garrett (Creator of HisReach) design and coded the site, I pretty much did the logo and the posters you will see on the BART train.

GodRides.org exists to encourage and facilitate a discussion about God and Life. Whether you’re Christian, Muslim, Atheist, Jewish, Buddhist, Agnostic or have never thought about it, GodRides.org provides an open environment to think, discuss and connect.

Here is a great description from the web site: We have a fear that too many people go through life without seriously thinking about major foundational questions in life. Even people who have bought into a belief system often times don’t think about it below surface level.

A part of us understands why this is. Who wants to debate the existence of God when you’re trying to enjoy yourself at a party? Or why would you bring up your religious beliefs at work and risk dividing the team you work with? Why strain your marriage by disagreeing about big issues when you have a hard enough time agreeing on who should do the dishes?

But another part of us is concerned. What if there is more to life than what the eye can see? Wouldn’t it have been wise to at least have considered the options?

The problem is there are very few places where it’s easy to discuss these issues without getting hit over the head with one viewpoint. GodRides.org’s goal is to create an open environment where you can join in the conversation, learn what others think, express your own thoughts and ask your own questions.

We seek to create thought provoking questions about God and Life that will challenge your mind. Learn from the essays representing many different viewpoints, all the way from Christianity to Atheism and everything in between.

Our hope is that you can leverage the discussion, resources and community at GodRides.org to discover Truth.

We encourage you to join in the conversation…you have nothing to lose but time, and depending on what you believe, that might not be a loss!

Think. Discuss. Connect. GodRides.org
