Steve Jobs made the official announcement today in San Francisco at the MacWorld Conference and Expo.
Apple today introduced iPhone, combining three products — a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, searching, and maps — into one small and lightweight handheld device.
iPhone is a revolutionary new mobile phone that allows you to make a call by simply pointing your finger at a name or number in your address book, a favorites list, or a call log. It also automatically syncs all your contacts from a PC, Mac, or Internet service. And it lets you select and listen to voicemail messages in whatever order you want — just like email.
I have been waiting for something this cool to come along and the time is now here. Nice to meet you iPhone I can’t wait to get to know you better. For way more info about this modern marvel visit Apple.

agh, that’s so cool!

I read through the keynote speech on Engadget. It sounds awesome! It’s definitely got the cool factor. Zooming in on google maps using multi-touch, an accelerometer, and music/video/calls not interfering with each other.

Let’s convince our boss, Ms. Sara, to buy us each one…since we “need” it and all. ha
