9 out of 10 doctors say you are only human….the other must be smokin pot.

Well…hello world. I have been thinking this week. It was a pretty normal week, nothing out of the ordinary other than my Grandma memorial service. After the service and after seeing a lot of my family, I went home and started thinking. Thinking about the people around me, friends and family, who I share my life with and who share theirs with me. I see people in my life who are willing to compromise what they want and what they even believe all for the sake of having a relationship. They deserve better than that. I see people who get hurt by other people, even people they love. They deserve better. I wish I could give them better. I wish I could be there all the time for them, pick them up when they fall, carry them when they can’t finish the race, but most of the time….I will never be able to. I am only human, I will fail those who I love. Good thing it does not depend on me. There is something better! Sure I will be there when I can, and do what I need to do. But I have to remember that sometimes I am only human… I have hurt in my own life, pain and struggles that only a select few who know really what I am feeling, they are people I can trust and love. They are there for me when I fall, they help carry me when I cannot finish, for that I am thankful.

uh….only human….

Looking back… what did you learn…

Here is an interesting thought I had the other night as I was sitting chattin with one of my friends. I was thinkin about how when we go through something, when something happens that we did not expect and it throws our life in a blender and decides to make mixed drinks, as we are in there the questions start to fire in our heads like a fireworks show on new years. Why is this happening? What in the hell is goin on? Why me? Why now? Why, why, why? Well we want to know then and sometimes even now and we do not realize what we have learn about ourselves until it has past. But while we are in the midst of the trial we think….There is nothing for me to learn or what could I possibly learn for this experience or any other experience that is happening. Well when I thought about this it reminded me of the movie The Karate Kid. Mr. Meiagee (dunno how to spell it) said he would teach Daniel Son how to do Karate, but instead he was waxing cars, painting houses, sanding floors and of course painting a fence that was in dire need of a fresh coat of paint. Besides getting some sore muscles he was able to learn how to defend himself, which is the most important part of it, although at the time he was not able to see that. Lets face it if we started out knowing what we are goin to learn would we want to learn it? If I found out I was going to learn how to program a computer I would probaly make excuses. When we think of Karate it is associate with awesome punches and spinning round house kicks! If Mr. Meiagee said to Daniel son, hey I am gonna teach you how to defend yourself he probaly wouldn’t want to do it. I mean come on…defense…teach me how to kick and punch! Daniel son probaly would have gotten frustrated and stormed off or though it was lame and decide he would go into landscaping. If he did that then he would have never learned about who he was and never gotten the chick. Sometimes we have to go through things without knowing what we are learning so we can learn it. See it. Accept it. Learn from it….one day at a time…..

Mondayooo = Relaxooo

Well it is Monday and it was my day off, a much needed to of vegging and relaxing. My day started out actually to my surprise playing X-box 360. I got really into play Fight Night 3 which is a boxing game. I played it and lost track of time haha when I looked up it was 1 in the afternoon. The I decided that I need to take a break so I did some arts and crafts time on the patio and continued to glue cigar label to the table that we have on the patio. It is cool slowly but surely the table is transforming into a work of art. My Monday arts and crafts time really help me keep my sanity during this crazy time in my life. And this evening was spent on the pation listen to the dodgers game on XM radio….let me tell ya that was a good game, the dodgers were losing in the bottom of the ninth but the pulled together to get 4 homeruns in a row, lets just say we might get some noise complaints tomorrow haha.Well I had a great phone call this evening with my brotha Wes, it was good to talk to him again. As I look to start this next week I plan on tring to make it a great week, just work hard and listen to what God has for me and see how I can serve the people around me better but for now here is my thought for the day….

I have Gmail….I uses it….it has a chat built into it….but since they call it “G” mail whenwe chat on it do you think we should use slang and chat like “G’s”? Think about that…yeah, put that in your pipe and attempt to puff on that while sitting on a random couch pille on the hgraay hill behing your house with the sun goin down creating the most beautiful sunset you have ever seen so it brings a small teart to you eye that tastes kind salty when it hit you lips causeing you to get a funny look on your face so theses random hiker see you and start lauphing at you and you are like “what the heck!”maybe I will just go home…. so yeah there it is…stay classy world wide web.

What else…..one of my best friend moved away to go to college, that is never any fun but God is using him in big ways and I am excited to see how he grows while he is at school.

I am stoked that things are calming down a bit cause I bought a bike a couple of weeks ago and I have not had much time to ride it. So I am looking forward to some killer bike rides.

The Patio….my scantuary, let me tell you about my patio. It it the ultimate kick it, chill, hang out spot. I love coming home after a long day and sitting out there in my chair, with my feet up on the coolest table in the world….pics coming soon….with a good cigar and a nice ice cold beverage, let me tell ya…awesome.

ok thought of the week…what is is the point of drama, so tired of it, so unneeded in life. Just live life one day at a time and try to make each day count for somethin. Don’t just have a good day, have a great day, if it is goin bad find a way to make it better don’t dwell in the badness look for the positive-ness and set up a tent and camp out there.

Stay classy world wide web.
